Colorado's 4Q 2013 Job Growth Higher than Previously Estimated


The Northern Colorado Business Report announced today that Colorado added more jobs in the fourth quarter of 2013 than previously estimated.  The total number of jobs in the state is expected to increase by 5,700.  Locally, the number of jobs in the Fort Collins-Loveland area is expected to rise by 800 while Greeley's count should increase by 100.

According to the 2013 Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages, the job count in construction, government, trade, transportation and utilities is expected to have the most upward revisions.  Jobs in the professional and business services, leisure and hospitality, education and health services is expected to have the most downward revisions.
