Greeley/Evans Transit to Hold Open House to Discuss Route Changes

Greeley Evans Transit (GET) will hold an open house at the Lincoln Park Library on November 21 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM to discuss bus route changes in preparation for the new transfer facility.  In August, GET announced a 1.5 million dollar grant awarded from the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) to build a new transfer center, to be located at the GET office at 1200 A Street in Greeley. This new center will replace the current Downtown Transfer Center located by Lincoln Park and will provide new amenities such as a lobby, vending machines, and restrooms.

Everyone is invited to attend the open house and help plan changes to the routes that will be necessary to accommodate the new transfer center.  The changes to the routes are expected to take place in 2015 when the new transfer center has been completed.

If you are unable to attend this open house, you may provide your comments by completing the online survey available at http://greeleygov.com/theBus/default.aspx or by contacting the GET office at 970-350-9287.

Those who have special translation or accommodation needs are encouraged to contact GET at least 48 hours prior to the open house. Every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate these needs.

For any additional questions about the Open House, please contact GET at 970-350-9287 or visit the website at www.greeleyevanstransit.com.
