The North Front Range Metropolitan Planning Organization (NFRMPO) has released the draft 2015 Public Involvement Plan for a 45-day public comment period. This 45-day public comment period begins on Friday, September 4, 2015 and closes on Sunday, October 18, 2015.

As a diverse and growing community due to rapid and continued growth, the region requires that transportation investments keep up with development to maintain a vibrant economy. To better plan for the future of the region’s transportation system, the NFRMPO has prepared the 2015 Public Involvement Plan.

Public involvement is crucial to the core principles of the NFRMPO and the overall planning process. Effective public involvement allows for an open exchange between the public and transportation decision makers. The 2015 PIP is a federally-mandated plan for Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs) to ensure public involvement in the planning process.

A copy of the plan is available at the NFRMPO offices at 419 Canyon Avenue, Suite 300, Fort Collins, Colorado 80521.  The full 2015 Public Involvement Plan can be accessed on the NFRMPO website:

Anyone needing special accommodations to access the content of the plan should contact the NFRMPO at staff@nfrmpo.org.
