Elite Airways is looking to expand service beyond its thrice-weekly trek to Rockford, Illinois from the Fort Collins/Loveland Airport. The airline began the service in August and is in the process of having its new fleet of airplanes approved by the Federal Aviation Administration. The new airplanes will provide 70-seats, an additional 20 seats compared to the current fleet. Once approved, Elite Airways will provide service to Mesa, Arizona. The company hopes to build on the increasing success of the Rockford route, which has seen improved patronage in its first two months.
