As part of its RoadX program, the Colorado Department of Transportation is teaming with HERE to pilot a connected vehicle program along I-70. The pilot program will include up to 1,000 volunteers, and will use HERE's cloud transportation infrastructure and cell phone networks to collect and analyze the weather and road conditions. This information will be distributed to drivers. The hope is to improve traffic conditions on I-70 during the ski season.

For more information about this pilot program, read the article at BizJournals.
