Greeley Airport receives state funding for runway repair

The Greeley-Weld County Airport received state funding from the Colorado Department of Transportation's Division of Aeronautics to improve its safety and infrastructure. The funding amounts to $250,000 and will be teamed with $350,000 in local funding and $5.4 Million in FAA funds. The overall project is $6 Million to repair and improve the airport's runway. Three other Northern Colorado airports received funding, including Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport, Vance Brand Airport, and the Erie Municipal Airport.
