Various models of alternative fuel vehicles were available
for test drive yesterday at the Windsor Community Recreation Center. The event
was hosted by Northern Colorado Clean Cities (NCCC) and Refuel Colorado to educate the
public on cleaner car options and energy security. Drivers had the opportunity
to learn about electric, ethanol, propane, compressed natural gas (CNG), and biodiesel
vehicles. Available models included a BMW i3, Nissan Leaf, and Toyota Prius.
