CDOT to Open the New I-25 Bridge at Crossroads Blvd on Thursday

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and RL Wadsworth plan to shift southbound I-25 traffic to the new bridge over Crossroads Boulevard beginning Thursday. This switch has been delayed twice due to weather. The opening of the new southbound bridge will bring the roadway to its final alignment. Lane and ramp closures, a temporary bridge, and temporary lane alignments have been commonplace in the work area as crews have progressed on the $22.1M project over the past 18 months.

Crews will implement alternating lane closures and remove markers and barriers between 9PM Thursday and 5AM Friday. Drivers should expect 10- to 15-minute delays during that time.
