Five-Month Closure of US 34 Business Route to Begin Tuesday, June 19

A segment of US 34 Business Route between Greeley and Kersey will be closed beginning Tuesday, June 19. Crews will be reconstructing the bridge over the South Platte River until November, only granting access to residents during that time. A detour will redirect motorists to US 85 via US 34. Construction will include repairs from damage caused in the 2013 flood, repaving the road surface, and some work outside the closed segment to improve accessibility for people with disabilities.
