CDOT to Boost Safety Patrol Presence along I-25 North

Beginning Monday, July 16, CDOT will add a second State Farm Safety Patrol vehicle to the 40-mile stretch of I-25 between Colorado State Highway 7 to Colorado State Highway 14. The expansion of the program is in response to the ever-increasing traffic along the corridor, according to I-25 Acting Corridor Manager Steven Gillespie.

State Farm Safety Patrol vehicles assist stranded motorists, help with traffic control and safety at incident scenes, and offer limited roadside assistance including providing fuel, changing flat tires, jump-starting vehicles, providing lockout assistance, and moving stranded vehicles out of harm's way.

Statewide, the State Farm Safety Patrol assisted more than 30,000 motorists in 2017. Read more from CDOT.
