Community leaders celebrate start of I-25 North Berthoud-Johnstown improvements

Additional improvements along I-25 are now underway. A groundbreaking was held on September 12, 2019 to kick off the project between Berthoud and Johnstown. The project will reconstruct the southbound I-25 bridge over the Little Thompson River and elongate the southbound on-ramp from SH56. The project is on top of what is currently under construction between Fort Collins and Johnstown. By 2023, I-25 will have an Express Lane in each direction, new bridges, safer interchanges, and improved transit infrastructure.
