Durangoans provide earful to Legislature’s transportation committee



The Transportation Legislation Review Committee is traveling through Colorado to discuss transportation priorities and funding within the state. Currently, the state faces a shortfall of about $800 million annually but transportation needs are only increasing. People, including Amber Blake, the city of Durango's Director of Transportation and Sustainability, are pleading their case for more transportation funding toward roads and transit. Municipalities are entering intergovernmental agreements to improve the chances projects are completed.
