Construction on the "Berthoud Hill" climbing lane has started, adding a third lane for roughly two miles on southbound I-25. The third lane will be located south of the Berthoud exit. The $10.3 Million project will last for approximately one year, with construction happening between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. weekdays. The project is managed by CDOT with funding from the North Front Range MPO. Speed limits will be reduced to 65 m.p.h. through the construction area.
