Roundabout on US287 Gets Colorado-Inspired Design

The roundabout under construction along US287 to Laporte was recently opened to motorists, showing off a unique, Colorado-inspired design, without adding any additional cost to the project. This roundabout is part of a three-year improvement project from CO1 to Laporte. Project features include two 12-foot traffic lanes in both directions with a center turn late, 10-foot wide concrete shoulders, and five foot sidewalks.

The project will also connect the 1,000 foot gap to the south of CO1, improving safety and mobility for residents in the region.
