Bicycling infrastructure at Colorado State University will see major investments. By 2018, CSU expects to increase bike parking spaces to 18,000 from the current 15,000. Additionally, four bicycle counters have been installed throughout campus, including: Pitkin at the Mason Trail; Merdian Avenue and Laurel Street; the Green Trail; and near Braiden Hall. Such investment is paying off, as some counters have counted nearly 3,000 cyclists in winter.
