Further upgrades are occurring on the Mason Street corridor. Dedicated bike lanes have been added through Old Town, specifically from Laurel Street to Cherry Street. The new bike lanes replace the existing sharrows, improving safety for cyclists and separating bicycle and auto traffic. At intersections, cyclists should use the right turn lane. Upgrades are also planned for the Mason and Cherry intersection and for further signal timing improvements.
