The Regional Air Quality Council (RAQC) will hold the 3LG: Local Government, Lawn & Garden, Low-Emission Grant Field Day on October 17 at the Adams County Fairgrounds. Lawn equipment is a contributor to air quality issues along the Front Range, and RAQC is offering the event as a way to learn about how to offset these emissions. The 3LG event is free and will offer opportunities to hear from other public agencies who currently operate electric and propane equipment; meet with vendors offering alternatively fueled equipment; information on a new grant funding opportunity for low-emission equipment; and test out the best available low and no-emission commercial grade lawn and garden technology.
Registration and more information is available at mowdownpollution.org/commercial.
