Fort Collins will start a one-year pilot of electric scooters in the downtown and Colorado State University areas of the city. Rollout is expected the week of October 14 after a two week education and outreach program. Initially, there will be 250 e-scooters throught Fort Collins and 250 at CSU. The e-scooters will be allowed on city streets from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. in summer and 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. in winter. The scooters can be left in any location but representatives from the company will return e-scooters to specified areas by 4 a.m. each day.
