I-25 North Express Lanes Project team will close WCR 44 May 4-8

Weld County Road (WCR) 44, east of the I-25 frontage road, will be closed from 7 a.m. on Monday, May 4 through 5 p.m. on Friday May 8 for the installation of a 6-inch pipeline across the roadway.

Detour routes to access I-25 include SH60 and WCR 34.

The work on WCR 44 is part of the I-25 North Express Lanes project: Berthoud to Johnstown, which will add an Express Lane in each direction of I-25, replace aging bridges, improve interchanges, and create bus transit infrastructure along I-25.
