The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has released a new campaign  called Distracted Reactions to highlight the stigma of distracted driving. According to a 2019 survey conducted by CDOT, 91% of drivers in Colorado admit to driving distracted weekly. The new campaign reminds drivers of the importance of staying focused while driving by showing reactions of people witnessing distracted driving. As traffic increases due to Stay-at-Home orders being lifted and summer traveling begins, CDOT and Colorado State Patrol encourage drivers to be responsibly and distraction free to ensure everyone gets to their destination safely.
