Fort Collins is restarting construction on the $24M train overpass near Lemay Avenue and Vine Drive. Some parts of the project were started in 2018 but stalled for various reasons, including the pandemic. City Council approved the needed funding for the project in November 2020. The project will move 1.5 miles of Lemay Avenue via an embankment over the train tracks, while maintaining the existing Lemay Ave as a local street. Traffic can typically back up at the intersection of Lemay Avenue and Vine Drive due to the switching yard nearby.
