Motorcyclists No Longer Need ExpressToll Pass to Use HOV Express Lanes for Free

As of Saturday, October 15, motorcyclists no longer need an ExpressToll pass or account to travel in HOV Express Lanes for free. HOV Express Lanes are available on portions of US 36 and I-25.

Motorcyclists still need to have an ExpressToll pass and account to avoid higher license plate toll charges on Express Lanes where HOV is not currently offered, including the I-70 Mountain Express Lane, Northwest Parkway, and E-470.

CDOT implemented the change to make motorcyclists' use of the Express Lanes easier.
