In a major first-time event, a self-driving truck drove down Interstate 25. After 12:30am, the truck left the Anheuser-Busch facility north of Fort Collins and drove south to Colorado Springs. The truck used technology produced by the start-up Otto, which was recently bought by Uber. Carrying more than 50,000 cans of beer, the truck used three separate but connected systems: a GPS, a dynamic road condition monitor, and a tool that combines the two systems. For now, the technology is only testing.
