March 26 Open House Slated for US 34 Business Route Project in East Greeley

Work began on the US34 Business Route Project in East Greeley in March and is expected to continue through November. A community meeting is being held on March 26 at 5:30 p.m. at the Greeley-Weld County Airport. At this meeting, CDOT officials and representatives from the consultant will be available to talk to residents and visitors. The purpose of the project is twofold: roadway resurfacing from US 85 along East 18th Street to the US 34 and US 34 Business junction; and bridge repair where US 34 Business crosses the South Platte River. The second goal is related to flood recovery from the 2013 floods.
