CDOT will host an open house on March 19 to discuss the
upcoming road-resurfacing project aimed at improving driving and pedestrian conditions
along SH14 from Lemay to I-25. All members of the public are invited to attend the
event, which will run from 6-8 p.m. at Quality
Inn and Suites I-25 North, 3836 E. Mulberry St., Building A, Fort Collins.
The 5.6 million project is expected to take five months, beginning in early April. Improvements will occur west to east and will
include roadway resurfacing, pedestrian ramp installation, grass planting,
median improvements, and traffic signal improvements. A full-depth reclamation
(FDR) process will be used from to rebuild the road from Timberline and South
Summit View Drive. This process is anticipated to take 10 days to complete;
access will be made available at all times to business and residents.
Minor
delays should be expected throughout the duration of this project. Construction
hours will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for daytime work and 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. for
overnight work, Monday through Friday.
