Staying at home is helping CDOT roadwork get done

The stay-at-home orders for COVID-19 are drastically reducing traffic on the road, which is benefiting road work in Colorado. Crews working on the state's highways and roads are continuing their essential work and gaining schedule flexibility due to lower traffic volumes. Work that typically would have to occur at night can now occur during the daytime, and projects may be delivered more quickly at a lower cost. At the very least, lower traffic means safer work zones for road crews.
