$1.1 million grant will extend sidewalks on 57th and U.S. 287 in Loveland

Map of sidewalks from Larimer County

Larimer County has received $1.1M in Transportation Alternatives (TA) program funds to complete sidewalks in around the intersection of East 57th Street and US287. In the neighborhood, Residents Unidos identified sidewalk connections as a major community and safety improvement. Four  segments of sidewalks will be built:

  • On the south side of East 57th Street east from U.S. 287 to Lago Vista Drive.
  • Along the north side of 57th from Monroe Avenue west to U.S. 287.
  • On the west side of 287 from 57th south to Ranch Acres Drive.
  • On the east side of 287 from 57th north to the underpass at roughly 64th Street.

These new sidewalk connections will connect the neighborhoods to FLEX stops and regional trails.
