Major progress is being made along the North I-25 Express Lanes Project, especially on the northern end. Work near Harmony Road will allow CDOT to raise a low-lying stretch of I-25 above the Poudre River, reducing the risk of a 100-year flood blocking the highway. In addition, a major gap in the Poudre Trail will be completed, crossing under I-25 to connect the existing portion north and northwest of Fort Collins to Timnath, Windsor, and Greeley. Progress also continues on the US34 interchange and Prospect Road bridge.
More information about construction progress is available in this article from the Coloradoan.
